Dope Rap Music has the ability to leave a lasting impression on you. So much the point that you can almost always remember where you were and who you were with when you 1st heard one of your favorite songs. The music that comes from Hip Hop so powerful and it has the ability to inspire. Whether you are a super athlete like Lebron James, or a everyday working person who uses music as motivation to get you through your work day, you know that music has the ability to put you into game mode to push you further. Here are 10 albums that you may also love and that inspired the recording artist T. Will$

Juvenile 400 Degreez was unlike anything you heard before. Every track on this album is pure dope. Tracks like Ghetto Children and Ride with Me, Rich niggaz, Off Top, and the title track 400 Dreesz are flawless. If you are a fan of southern hip hop this is more likely one of your favorites as well. This is the album that makes you understand as a music lover and aspiring artist that being original is so important.

2Pac’s album All Eyes On Me, is a masterpiece. Tupac raps his lyrics with passion, fury, and with a force that shakes the listener’s eardrums. On the Track “U Can’t See Me”, you can feel the energy just spilling out of Pac as he raps the lyric “Tell them tricks that shot me, that they missed they ain’t kill me”. Pac was fresh out of jail as was a real bad ass with something to prove to his haters. This album got tracks for the ladies too. But more importantly he also brought a positive message in this album. The Track “Wonder Why They Call You Bitch”, gives you an insight into the mind of the artist. He respectfully calls out sisters who may be on the path to destruction. Other tracks that shakes the room is the song Scandalous, Whats Your Phone Number, and California Love. This double album will forever be one of Hip Hop’s classics. This albums seems to get better with time because it displays timeless production and timeless lyrics.

The Hot Boy$ were really “on Fire” with this album, Each artist shines with their own style and in there own way. On this album we see Turk beginning to blossom as he confidently spits on his solo track “Bout Whatever”. We also get to see a young Lil Wayne in his early beginnings spitting with slick lyrics and charisma with a unique voice that stands out over any track. B.G. is almost like a smooth criminal when he raps. His flow fits so perfect on his solo track Help, and he lays down one of the smoothest flows as he spits on “We Ridin”. Juvenile Shines each and every time he spits, Although all members are super dope, you can tell Juvenile was in a zone as he spits his Louisiana flow. This super group was much more polished on this album which was a follow up to the debut album “Get It How You Live”. They all showed originality and their talent went unnoticed.

The Blueprint is a perfect album because the lyrics and flows are at a high caliber, yet its not too complex to go over the listeners head. This album has top notch, fire production that you can vibe with every day of the week with no skips. Tracks like “You Dont Know”, by Just Blaze showcases music that reigns as an anthem. Kanye West gives Jay – Z such a soulful sound on the track “Never Change”. “Izzo” is also a perfect anthem that is sure to get Rap fans out of their seats and dance no matter where you are. Jay – Z showcased style, originality, charisma, all the while giving you great raps songs that had dope lyrics. He definitely displayed why he is one of the greats with his stellar performance on The Blueprint.

The best way to describe the Notorious B.I.G is The Hood Shakespeare, If you don’t know what I mean by that then you need to listen to “Gimme The Loot” Big cleverly raps two characters back and forth. He then does it again in another very vivid and cinematic story about a home invasion on the song “The Warning”. Big’s ability to tell stories was like no other and is why he is considered One of the Greatest of all time lyricists to ever get on a mic. Ready To Die was smooth, slick, with a flow that was gritty however Big just skates over tracks like “Juicy” and “Big Poppa”. His voice also dominates with a delivery that keeps your attention. This album is very cinematic giving you scene for scene of everything BIG is rapping about. You can see every line that Big raps on the song “Just Me and My Bitch”. The man was truly gifted and its a shame he was taken at such a young age being credited for writing just 2 albums.

Lil Waynes break out album where he begins to show the world he is nothing to be played with on the mic is The Carter. Lil Wayne stepped up his style, flow, and approach to rap. Birdman Jr. displays such a cocky flow as Lil Wayne boastfully raps “People think that I am a kid still, because the lil Nigga still ride on big wheels” as he stunts with The Birdman as he bigs Lil Wayne up throughout the entire song. Other classics include ” I Miss My Dogs”, where Lil Wayne explains how he feels about his Hot Boy group splitting and no longer recording music together. This was like a window into Lil Wayne’s human side instead of displaying a super tough thug. Go D J also showcases a slick new style which is also projected on “Bottom Of The Map”. What makes this album so timeless and special is it was a spin off the The Movie “New Jack City” You will hear Lil Wayne walking you through the Carter introducing to you the operation and it’s infrastructure as if you are privy to some location that is very classified and secret. He leads you upstairs and continues to give the listener a tour through the building as the album plays. Many thought Lil Wayne could not out do himself after this, little did we rap fans know, the best was yet to come.

Aquemini is Hip Hop Royalty. Andre 3000, and Big Boi complement each other with precision on this album. The Song “The Art Of Storytelling” showcases how in sync the artists are with concepts, however still keep displaying their own perspective. You can tell this album was a force after just hearing one of the opening tracks like “Return of The Gangsta”. Andre and Big Boi showcase and unorthodox style and flow. Some would even say Andre is eccentric, however, thats what made this album so great because its like no other thing you ever heard. This is what most artist forget to include in their music which is to not sound and do whats already out, but create your own lane and wave. The group Outkast represents something that is so unique and original as original can get.

Doggy Style is a dope experience to say the very least about its stellar quality. This album takes you into the world of Snoop from the opening track and just continues to go on and on through out the rest of the album. Snoop showcased one of the smoothest styles of flow on this album. G’z and Hustler showcases a confident Snoop giving his fans the his music that “hits hard as steel”. This album is a classic that showcases the Dogg Pound and Natedogg along with many more. Dr. Dre really laced Snoop with some of the best production and Snoop just gives you a style that you can’t help but want to listen to over and over again.

Although Trap Muzik could have easily took this albums place, Urban Legend is some of T.I’s greatest work hands down. The King Of the South lets all his haters know on ASAP that Advances on the thrown won’t be taken lightly. He gives you classic bangers like “You Don’t Know Me”, but also gives you inspiration with the stellar track “Motivation”. T.I also shakes the room with his stellar performance on Get Loose featuring Nelly. He also drops another hard banger with the song “What They Do” featuring The Original Hot Boy, B.G. If you a big fan of T.I. then you probably hold this album in high regards like we do. Although T.I. amazingly has albums even better than this, This album made the list because T.I. shows that he truly is the king and with his flow and rapping ability, he was well within his rights to claim it.

From a Hot Boy to The Fireman, Lil Wayne becomes a force to reckon with on his 2nd installment of The Carter Series. Lil Wayne showcases his creativity but steps it up another level by taking you on yet another tour through the new and improved Carter Operation. He flys you in preparing you for an adventure into the mind of Lil Wayne. You get anthems like Money On My Mind, and Hustler Musik. On the flip side you get something smooth, but murderous on the track Mo Fire, Weezy Baby, and something nice for the ladies like Grown Man. This is one of Lil Wayne best display of style and this is just one of his many styles that he continues to display even to this day. Other songs that are impactful includes “Feel Me”, and he boldy and boastfully raps “its no problem baby I so got em, its just a victory lap baby Im just jogging”, On one of his top tracks “Best Rapper Alive”. Wayne shows all non believers that he truly can hold his crown with no sweat.

In conclusion, these are some of the known greats who have inspired me to become and artist. What art form inspires you to become great? This music has an impact on not just me, but millions of other rap fans like yourself who have come to love the art form of Rap Music.
